Dash Systems, Inc. Congratulates Sondra Kronberg, MS, RD, CDN

( Syosset, NY – April 20, 2005) – DASH Systems, Inc. is proud to announce that Sondra Kronberg has been awarded the 2004 Excellence in Education and Treatment Award by The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA), in recognition of her tremendous achievements in the field of eating disorders. Ms. Kronberg is a clinical nutritionist specializing in the training, supervision and treatment of the collaborative approach to eating disorders and creating physical and emotional wellness.

“Her extraordinary competence, energy and devotion have been crucial to the growth and success of NEDA-Long Island. She is truly the heart and soul of our organization,” said NEDA-Long Island President Vicki Paley, LCSW, BCD, who spoke highly of Ms. Kronberg and her remarkable accomplishments.

As an integral part of Dash Systems, Inc., Sondra is the Wellness and Nutritional Director. She is currently focusing on running and operating women’s self-care groups. “We want to extend our congratulations to Sondra Kronberg,” said Eric Aronson, Founder of Dash Systems, Inc. “We’re thrilled to honor Sondra and have her part of the DASH team.”

Ms. Kronberg joined the Dash team in May 2004, with a commitment to helping people make the most out of their DASH. “I firmly believe that we are all given gifts and that our gifts are within us. Sondra is the Co-Founder and Nutritional Director of the Eating Disorder Associates Treatment & Referral Centers and the Eating Wellness Programs on Long Island. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the National Eating Disorders Association and is the Executive Director of the National Eating Disorder Association of Long Island. Sondra has a Masters degree in medical biology with a specialization in human nutrition. She has been doing nutritional counseling and life coaching for the past twenty-five years in a variety of settings including hospitals, medical offices and fitness centers. She has been in private practice for the past twenty years. She also does consulting, coaching, lecturing and training programs for schools, professional organizations and medical facilities throughout the country.

NEDA LI is a non-profit organization devoted to prevention, education and support: prevention of eating disorders, education about eating disorders and support to sufferers of eating disorders, their families and their friends. The organization is comprised of professionals who specialize in eating disorders including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors and nutritionists.
