Despite being dealt a tough hand, Aronson’s career started with a modest investment in a brokerage firm that he quickly turned into a multi-million dollar operation, as well as having made several people millionaires around him. Life seemed to have turned around.

At age 31, Eric’s life abruptly changed when he was indicted for criminal conspiracy of Securities and Wire fraud in connection to his role in the fraudulent sale of shares in one of his companies.
He spent 3 years in a federal prison, where he digested over 600 motivational books and vowed to turn his life into something that his children could be proud of.

Since Eric’s release, he has lost 60 pounds, quit smoking, quit gambling and has become a dedicated father. Beyond having engineered the Dash System and having written DASH, He has committed his time to being a Dash Life Coach, a touring motivational speaker and President of Dash Systems, Inc., a company devoted to helping people create results and realize dreams. As a nationally recognized coach of Dash, Eric travels the country delivering the Dash message, so that others can benefit from the lessons that he learned through his personal trials and tribulations.

	"I looked down at my watch … yet again. 12:06 a.m., a new day. June 20, 2000. I had survived another day in federal prison. In just two years, four months and two days I would be a free man again. 852 days? How had my life come to this? I began to sob uncontrollably. I had had it all – a mansion, a collection of expensive sports cars, millions of dollars in the bank, a beautiful wife and three loving kids. But my excesses caught up with me, and I had been sentenced to prison for securities fraud.

	As I lay on my prison bunk, weeping, I found the conviction to change my path. Realizing my pursuit of wealth left me in despair, I had arrived at the same crossroads Henry David Thoreau stood at when he wondered, " why not sink a shaft down to the gold within me? [So] I might pursue some path, however solitary and narrow and crooked, in which I could walk with love and reverence?"

Therefore, over the next three years, I read over 600 books on personal development. I read the works of the ancient philosophers, such as Socrates and Buddha. I also read books by many of the modern leaders in the field of personal development (e.g., Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, etc.). And in their collective wisdom, I found myself. And I found the blueprint for living life wisely, for finding the path that brings us to what we wanted all along."

By age 31 Eric had it all. Only to lose his fortune, and his way in life. Rather than despair Eric picked up the pieces and set about reclaiming himself. This journey is captured in his book, DASH.
