  Testimonials

Here's what a few readers from Amazon.com have said:

This book is life changing. I'd heard Linda Ellis's 'Dash' poem before, and I was touched. However, this book 'DASH' - and Eric Aronson's life story - goes way beyond being touched. I was really moved to take action on some things that I had left undone (and that is saying a lot coming from Dr. Proactive).

I interviewed Eric Aronson on "The Inside Success Show" and learned even more. He has lived the American Dream and the American Nightmare, both unhappily. Now, he is joyfully living his DASH in a balanced and authentic way. His wife and family come first.

If you desire a moment-by-moment sense of purpose that will give your life value, happiness, and authentic abundance, then this is the right book for you.

As the author of 'The street kid's Guide to Having it All" I've read my share of self help books. Eric is a walking example of what is possible in life despite falling like a bat out of hell and ending up in jail. His book has excellent examples that anyone can use NOW to make their life better and worthwhile. His life experiences speak for themselves. If you want to read a book from someone who knows first hand what it takes...read this!

"DASH author Eric Aronson has redefined the Self-help genre with his compelling book - DASH.
An irrefutable must-read on Life-Mastery that is a simple and powerful list of guidelines and anecdotes to help build the tools for an incredible quality of Life. "

As an Author, Coach, and Motivational Speaker I read a lot of books about people, their motivations, and their relationships. I'm glad I added DASH to my bookshelf!

I first heard the metaphor of the Dash from Motivational Speaker and Life Coach Sandy Griffin. I was so impressed with Sandy's presentation that when I heard that there was a book coming out by the same title I was intrigued. When I read DASH I found a truism from the book right away; each person has a unique perspective on a topic, no one better than the other, just different.

The author's version of DASH has many of the traditional tips for living a life you love and feeds them to you in a short and easily digestible format. Using the acronym DASH for his four themes of Determination, Attitude, Success, and Happiness the author guides you through snippets of wisdom to support each theme. If you're looking for deep research then pass this book by. If you're in the market for a quick, motivational, and practical read then I recommend DASH, buy yourself a copy today.

I have read books that leave a memory from time to time but no book has ever impacted me as much as this book. When you think of something as simple as the DASH between those two dates, it makes you realize that life is so short and you should do everything in your power to make the most of it.

This book may be on 218 pages, but it leaves you feeling like you have learned from the best of the best. People make mistakes in life, but for the author to go through what he did, it gives me the ability to forgive certain people in my life and to make my life a little brighter.

I opened this book late one night, planning to just skim a few pages before going to bed. But it sucked me in immediately with its profound wisdom. Every page, every quotation, every principle provides important food for thought. This is not just a feel-good fluffy book; it's a book that will propel you into action and make you rethink your life's choices and what you can do to make your life more meaningful and fulfilling.

I enjoyed the atypical advice-- such as the suggestion to forget about working on your weaknesses and instead keep honing your strengths, write your own eulogy, and think about the dollar value of your body and mind. The book is full of metaphors and stories that help illustrate the points Aronson makes, making them easy to understand and apply.

I wish I had Aronson standing next to me, playing "fairy godfather" and personally encouraging me to follow the DASH principles every day... but having this book is the next best thing. I know that I now have the tools to change my life... now the rest is up to me!

Being a Father, I have looked for ways to assist my oldest boy get through some difficult times. with out getting into detail, he has addictions. I have searched high and low for a way to get him to stay on the straight and narrow only to fail to his love and desire to drugs and alcohol. After reading DASH, Not only did it give me the things that I needed to assist my son, It also gave my son the ability to stay clean and sober for the last 37 days. Like most reviews, they thank the author for a book, However, I would like to thank the author for giving me back my son. Thank you and may the lord bless you.

This book is "keepin' it real at its best!" The inspiration and spirit flows through the entire book and the author never loses his sense of humor even with all of his turmoil. It teaches you about all of the curves that life throws at you and how to swerve and make the most of your DASH. It WILL make a difference in how you think and approach life. It's like tastykakes for your soul!

Finally something worth reading!! With the fast paced society that we live in, it can be easy to get wrapped up and forget about what is important and especially how to stay in touch with ourselves. This book has changed my life. I never realized that something as obvious as the DASH principles, Determination, Attitude, Success, and Happiness was what I was lacking in my life. I had the power to grasp these concepts all along and now, thanks to this book, I have learned how. It was so inspiring to read how an ordinary guy was able to take charge of his life when he was at the bottom and rise to the top with such pride and confidence that so many of us lack. The author made it very easy to relate to his story and see things from his point of view. The power to change our lives is within all of us, but until now I never understood how simple it actually was. I would recommend this book to anyone. It has made such an impact in my life; I can't wait to pass it on.

Hi, my name is Mary. 4 months ago I was a depressed, overweight and single 37 year old divorcee with 2 kids. I know it sounds hard to believe, but after reading this book, I have overcome my bout with depression, lost 30 pounds, I am dating the greatest guy in the world and my relationship with my kids are better than it ever has been.

I am not one for writing reviews, but the world has to know how great this book really is!!!!! This book was a turning point in my life that changed everything for the better. I have so many friends who on the outside look and appear happy, but are upset and miserable on the inside. I must have referred this book to 20 friends and family and they all have thanked me for giving them something that has helped them as well. That is why I have to give thanks to the person responsible for changing so many lives.... Eric Aronson. For Mr. Aronson to go through the things that he has gone through and come back the way he did....

It is an inspiration to us all. There should be more people out there that can come through the adversity and challenges like Mr. Aronson did with the courage and strength and the ability to share. I look forward to reading any and all other work by this author.

I HAVE FINALLY REALIZED WHAT MY DASH IS!

My life has had its ups and down's, but nothing like the author of this book. This man has been through hell and back only to have the decency to help his fellow man. If I were him, I would be like most and become negative and cynical. For Mr. Aronson to share his life experiences with the public in such a way only makes him a role model for all people. His motivation for assisting others after the nightmares he's encountered makes him different than most. Being a reader of many motivational books, there is no one in the field of self development that can hold a candle to the writing of this wonderful masterpiece. There are always times in life when you capture perfection and Mr. Aronson has done it with DASH.

From a letter sent to Mr. Aronson... I am, and always will be the ultimate pessimist. This book gave me ideas to change my ways and thought process to be more positive. This is a book for the masses.

I am only 12 years old, but I live my life like I am much older. That is why I find myself getting in trouble most of the time. Doing drugs and drinking is a daily thing for me. I started reading this book that my dad gave me. I finally see that life has a lot more to offer than doing what I am doing. If I continue, I will wind up just like Mr. Aronson. If I stop doing what I am doing, I will wind up just like Mr. Aronson after his visit to prison. I am lucky to have read this book and I thank Mr. Aronson for showing me that life has more meaning than I believed it to be. Also thanks to my dad for giving me the book and opening my eyes before drugs or alcohol closed them permanently.

Actions speak louder than words... Reviews mean nothing since opinions are like noses... Every body has one. Get the book and see for yourself that this is book that is needed in your daily life.

This is my first time writing a review. I have never had been inspired before to write one and this book gave me so much that I thought that the only way to thank the author would be to share with the public how it affected my life.

I am a recovering alcoholic/drug addict. Have been for the last 7 years. I have been in different programs as well as rehabs and it is all the same. Nothing ever worked. Always went back to doing what I was doing in the past. Now, someone says read this book DASH. I go and get the book only not to find it anywhere. So, I order it online and from the moment I received it, my life has changed.

Following the DASH principles taught me what I needed to accomplish what I set out to do. This guy did what most people dream of doing. I related with him and more importantly, So far, I have not had a drink or taken a drug in the last 82 days. It is probably the most difficult thing I have ever done, but I also have never felt as good as I do today. This author saved my life and I hope everyone out there buys this book for a friend who needs it. It saved my life and I thought by writing a review, that the author would see it and know that I am thankful to him for giving me a second chance at life.

A friend recommended this book and I told her that I didn't have the time to read it during the holidays. Boy, am I glad that I made the time. This book gave me a whole new perspective on life. It shows there is more to life than the "rat race." I was moved by Aranson's story and realized that if he could come back from sexual abuse and prison to make a difference, then what am I waiting for? I am going to make the most of my DASH!
